The morning session starts at
10am and is usually finished by 12 noon.
Our club
meetings is usually started with a short video outlining some aspect of
computing. The subsequent short discussion tends to broaden our
understanding of the how, what, where and why of technology.
Club members are encouraged to share with the meeting any difficulties or
problems that are puzzling and all present can contribute to finding a solution
or work-around.

March 2010 : We now have available a DVD
(Meeting Movies #1) with over 30 copies of movies that have been shown at
our regular meetings.
Video tutorials
for Beginners
We have available a DVD designed especially for newcomers to
computer-land. This disc contains 12 short video tutorials commencing with
the computer mouse and slowly progressing to a visual presentation of terms
like "directories" and "file extensions". The disc will play both in your
computer and in the DVD player in the lounge room, allowing you to progress
at your own pace and to repeat any video that at first seems puzzling.
